The Grootbos Foundation is very excited about the imminent launch of a new Green Futures College at Lebone II College in Bafokeng, North West Province. 







This project has been in the planning stages for the last 18 months and is being implemented through a partnership between the Grootbos Foundation, Lebone II College (www.lebonecollege.co.za) and Keith Kirsten Horticulture International (www.keithkirsten.com). 







Representatives from the three organisations met this week at Lebone to take a look at the new buildings and Green Houses that have been built for the college and to discuss implementation. Tumisang Mabule has been appointed to run the college and the first twelve students will be starting their training on the 16th of January. 



We will keep you updated on progress with this exciting new initiative at Lebone II!
