Grootbos was one of only a few wedding venues we looked at. The day that we arrived and were welcomed by Michael (even on a very important day for his family!) we fell in love with the venue and location immediately. After seeing Grootbos, it was impossible to imagine having our wedding anywhere else, and we had to have it!

To say that it lived up to our expectations for our big day would be an understatement, every detail was considered and taken care of, our guests felt taken care of and pampered, and the food and service were some of the best we have ever experienced. All of these elements were exactly what we wanted for our friends and family in the celebration of our marriage. The attention to detail, personalized touches, luxurious rooms and amenities as well as the sheer break-taking nature of the venue and the surrounds, meant that we experienced a truly unforgettable day of perfection! We would have no doubts in recommending the venue and your fantastic team of staff to any couple searching for a little piece of heaven!
