On Friday, the 3rd of June, we had an Art Lesson with art teacher, Carla Gouws. The theme of the Art Lesson was to create art out of our environment.

The graduation ceremony was held on the 28 of May 2011 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town. I was graduating for my three years Higher Diploma in Adult Basic Education and Training, the College of Human Sciences. I did the diploma after I have completed a one year course at Green Futures for horticulture and Life Skills, followed by the facilitator's and assessor's course.

We had a very short week before the Easter weekend and lots of work to complete before our well deserved break! Before the holiday started, Green Futures had to do a garden in Arniston! We took all of our Growing the Future ladies to help.

Grootbos Foundation takes part in Uthando Exhibition On the 17th of May, Susan and Viola took part in the exhibit which formed part of Uthando Charity Concert, held at the Table Bay Hotel.
