A 'Thank You' from Khaya

Kaya was part of our 2005/2006 class at Green Futures! Khaya has been busy with his vegetable garden in Longmarket Street Stanford, which he started in the middle of last year and grows spinach, beetroot, cabbage and carrots.

Growing the Future Students visit Abalimi Bezekhaya

The Growing The Future students recently had the opportunity to visit the operations of "Abalimi Bezekhaya" in Cape Town. We visited a community garden in Nyanga, where women from the township produce vegetables to generate an income for themselves.

Green Futures look at De Kelders gardens
