Grootbos Foundation Students Graduate!

Congratulations to all our Green Futures and Growing the Future students who have finished their course! We had a small ceremony in which each of them received a certificate in recognition of what they have learnt over the past year! We wish each and everyone the of best of luck.

Green Futures contributes to the Sports Centre garden

During the past week, the Green Futures staff and students planted up an area in front of the entrance of the Gansbaai Sports Centre as part of our agreement with the Absa Foundation!

Growing the Future visits Jakkalskloof

On the 22 of November we visited Jakkalskloof, one of John Raimondo%u2019s farms near Swellendam. They use permaculture principles to become self- reliant. Linda and Gram guided us through the farm showing what they have done and what they are planning to do.

Dibanisa: Beach Clean Up

High Nutrient Water from Chicken Coop

After heavy rains, the soil in the chicken coop becomes saturated. The water that accumulates is full of nutrients that could be used in the garden.
