Spring holiday at Grootbos not only welcomes the rolling hills of blooming Fynbos, there is another show that attracts a ‘larger’ audience. From as early as June the annual migration of the Southern Right Whales seeks refuge in the natural sanctuary of Walker Bay. Hermanus and Gansbaai are world famous for the best land based whale watching of which the De Kelders cliffs is arguably the best of the lot.
