The Classic Cape Circuit

The Garden Route is the green jewel of South Africa, blessed with lush indigenous forests, gushing rivers, expansive lagoons, sun-kissed beaches and majestic mountains, creating a symphony of natural beauty interspersed with scenic towns and villages. Grootbos, situated directly between Cape Town and the start of the Garden Route, is the perfect stopover on this classic Cape circuit.

Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Beyond

The perennial favourites for any visitor to the Garden Route are the picturesque towns of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. With its stunning beaches, pristine nature reserve and playful dolphins, Plett (as it is affectionately known) is closely rivalled by Knysna, with it’s turquoise coloured lagoon, oysters and lush indigenous forests. The beautiful Tsitsikamma Forest further north hosts monkeys and an abundance of birdlife, with Nature's Valley and Storm's River offering a host of outdoor adventures like hiking, biking, bungee jumping, river-tubing and much more!

A Magnificent Malaria Free Safari

While most visitors to South Africa tend to think of the Kruger National Park when it comes to wildlife, the Eastern Cape is home to a number of world-class Big Five Game Reserves offering excellent malaria free safari experiences. Many of the best reserves are north of Port Elizabeth, and are easily reached by any vehicle, the perfect way to cap your Garden Route adventure!
