Accommodation rates at Grootbos
Rates from R1980-R3750 per person, per night sharing
Rates Include full board, lodging and all land-based activities
Above rate is based on a full board basis and includes;
Accommodation in free standing luxury suites, welcome drink, 5 course dinner (fine cuisine prepared by master chefs), breakfast buffet with full English breakfast menu, lunch or bistro menu after 13:00, fresh fruit baskets daily, transfers to all activities & specified activities as outlined.
Activities included in the rate and accompanied by Nature Guides;
- Guided walks and 4x4 drives through the reserve
- 1-2 hour guided walks through the extensive Milkwood Forest.
- 1 hour guided horse rides through the reserve
- Guided excursions to the archaeological Klipgat Cave
- Guided trip along the nearby coast to view the whales (June to December)
- Guided walks along the rocky coast, exploring the marine life in the pools
- Opportunities to explore and picnic on sandy beaches,and swim in sheltered bays
- Stargazing - telescopes are great for watching stars, planets and the moon
- Bird-watching; experience a great variety of bird species on the reserve
Not-included activities:
- Boat-trips to Dyer Island to watch about Seals, penguins, Sharks, dolphins and the Southern Right Whales (June to December)
- Shark cage diving
- Scenic Flights

Cancellation Policy:
More than 30 days prior to arrival : 0% of total accommodation
14 – 30 days prior to arrival : 50% of total accommodation
07 – 13 days prior to arrival : 75% of total accommodation
00 – 06 days prior to arrival : 100 % of total accommodation
Payment for accommodation is required 30 days prior to arrival! If no payment is received, the reservation will automatically be released!
