We attended an Induction Day with several other new Eden workers & volunteers. HOD's of various Departments gave us animated & informative talks on why Eden came to be, what Eden & all it's community involvement stands for, how the building process evolved to completion, and how they hope a day at Eden will affect all it's visitors. Their mission is : "To inspire people to create their own Eden at home". We enjoyed a tour to the Waste Neutral Site, had a fun tour of Eden with a Pollinator (of the human kind - pollinating people, not plants!) & making new friends over a delicious tea with scones, clotted cream & strawberry jam. All in all a great day. The picture shows Azukile brainstorming with his team during an interactive task assigned to each group.

Joan took Azukile, Celina & Mlindeli to watch an Eden Team Football practise session last night at a local school. The guys were longing to play & the team welcomed them on board, so a great time was had by all. They were invited back to play next week as well.

To enrich their English experience, Joan took everyone to a local pub for dinner. We are chatting to fellow South Africans we met - the smiles say it all.
