The graduation ceremony was held on the 28 of May 2011 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town. I was graduating for my three years Higher Diploma in Adult Basic Education and Training, the College of Human Sciences. I did the diploma after I have completed a one year course at Green Futures for horticulture and Life Skills, followed by the facilitator's and assessor's course.

It was a great day for me at the graduation. My family (mother, brothers, sister and my child) was there. Everything was very professional. There were many candidates receiving their certificates, diplomas and degrees. I became more motivated to see even older people receiving their degrees just because they have continued with their studies. "You are never too old to learn".

If you studying, you are not wasting your time; instead you are building up your future. Then when you receive your certificate, diploma or degree, you are receiving your key of success. By studying you are helping your nation as well. I don't study just because I only want to fulfil my own needs but for others as well. That is why I want to open up my own training centre one day so that I can train other people using the knowledge and experience I have got. I know a dream can come true. If you want to be successful you must be a dreamer (wishful thinker). You will see the outcome:)

All in all I am very proud of myself.
