For most people winter means Hot Chocolate, chicken soup and nights hidden beneath a mountain of blankets in front of the TV. Thrill-seekers begin to feel out of place as the infamous Cape winds and rain create havoc in erratic spurts and lock them indoors. However, winter is actually THE BEST time to go shark cage diving! Contrary to how it may feel outside, the water is actually warmer and the visibility crisp clear. To top that off there are far more Great Whites prowling the waters at this time since it's hunting season. So set aside a few days for shark cage diving so that when the weather is just right you can come face to face with the apex predator of the ocean. The possibilities are endless as you could see a shark breach in pursuit of a seal or spot a Southern right whale.

There is nothing better than returning to luxury after an adrenaline pumping day. So let Grootbos take care of the details while you indulge in the adventure and five-star comforts
