Third Dibanisa group for 2011

The third Dibanisa group for 2011 kicked off on the 4th of August. This term, twenty learners from the Okkie Smuts Primary school will be participating in this environmental education programme!

Grootbos celebrates 1000 planted trees

The seeds of the Future Trees Project are spreading like wildfire and exceeded the one thousand-notch milestone this month! The 1000st tree was planted on behalf of Nick Trend of the UK last week. The number of tree-owners has grown to 1008, with Genia and Marc Staperfeld who planted and named the last White Milkwood Sir William.

ABSA supports the Green Futures College

The Green Futures Horticultural and Life Skills College, which has been training disadvantaged youth from Gansbaai since 2003, was recently very pleased to received a donation R220 000.00 from the ABSA Foundation.

Dibanisa Camp 24 and 25 June 2011
