- You will be greeted with a warm towel to wipe away the travel fatigue while a member of staff parks your car and places your luggage in your suite.

- We highly recommend sitting down to a decadent lunch on our outside deck so you can grasp the natural spectacle of Grootbos and the panoramic views over Walker Bay.

- When you are ready, a guide will sit down with you and take you through the list of activities available at Grootbos.

- You will then be led along the cobbled pathway to your self-standing suite nestled in the indigenous vegetation. Make yourself at home and when you are ready we can begin the Grootbos adventure.

- Join one of our specialised guides on a hike along the Pincushion trail that takes you through ancient Milkwood and Afromontane forests with trees estimated to be between 500 and 1000 years old.

Evening:

- Take your time to relax and freshen up before making your way to the main lodge for a sensational gourmet dinner.

- Sit down to a fusion of culinary delights during a six-course dinner. Our chefs insist on using only the freshest ingredients so most of our produce is home-grown and organic while our seafood is straight from the sea. Needless to say, every meal is an explosion of flavour.

- Whilst you relish the exquisite taste sensation your suite will be prepared for the evening. When you return the lights will be dimmed, the duvet turned down and, if the weather calls for it, a fire lit.

Day 2
