Day 1 - Overview
Arrive at Grootbos with your appetite intact, as you’ll soon be enjoying a delectable lunch as you gaze at unbeatable sea and mountain views. After checking in and enjoying some relaxation time in your suite, we’ll head off on a land-based whale watching excursion where you’ll spot Southern Right Whales as close as 30 metres from you. Afterwards, sip on sundowners from the deck of our Whale House before returning to the lodge and feasting on an unforgettable 5-course dinner.

Day 2 - Overview
Rise early and greet the day as you enjoy a hot beverage and snack before we head off to Kleinbaai Harbour. Here you’ll board a luxury boat and get to experience the Marine Big 5 first-hand including whales, sharks, penguins, dolphins and seals. After this exhilarating experience, arrive back at the lodge for a delicious brunch followed by some relaxation time. In the afternoon, you’ll discover the intricacies of fynbos on a 4x4 tour with our passionate guides who’ll open your eyes to the miracles of this floral kingdom.

Day 3 - Overview
After a hearty breakfast it’s time to get up close and personal with Great White Sharks! Feel the blood pumping in your veins as you go shark cage diving and learn new facts about these often-misunderstood predators. Head back to the lodge for a sumptuous lunch and then in the afternoon enjoy a 30-minute scenic flight where you’ll spot awe-inspiring Southern Right Whales from above. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner in our restaurant as you relive your exhilarating day.

Day 4 - Overview
Join one of our guides on an early morning forest walk as the sun filters through the trees and you spot colourful sunbirds, picture-perfect flowers and listen to the sounds of nature. Afterwards, enjoy a final breakfast in our restaurant before you pack your bags and depart Grootbos filled with new sights and rich memories.
